1. Why would I want to modify my power supplies?

There are many reasons to modify power supplies:

• Increase system reliability and performance by decreasing heat levels
• Save energy by increasing the efficiency of systems
• Create compatibility with custom and specialized systems and servers
• Customize the available output rails
• Customize minor functions of the power supply to your needs 

2. Can Antron Electronics perform any type of customization?

There are a few services that Antron will not perform. We can not reshape power supplies, significantly redesign or rework the internal components of a power supply, or alter the purpose or output wattage of a power supply. For additional technical advising, please contact us.

3. How long does it take for a custom order?

There is no standard time frame for custom orders since the labor involved varies based on the amount of customization required. Most orders can take as little as one business day or up to two full weeks. This includes the time required for the modifications as well as the time needed to fully test the products. For urgent needs, we are able to expedite your order for an additional fee. Please contact tech support for a timeframe and estimates.

4. What methods of payment and financing options are accepted by Antron Electronics?

We currently accept Visa, Mastercard, Discover, American Express, PayPal, and Business Checks. Financing terms are given upon the sale and payment is usually on a 30-day term. Some terms are negotiable.

5. What brands of power supplies does Antron Electronics carry?

We carry:

Etasis, Jasuny, Seasonic, TC Sure-Star, Tri-Mag, and Zippy/EMACS power supplies.

As a partner of the above companies, Antron Electronics is able to provide customization services and technical support for power supplies manufactured by the above companies.

6. Have the manufacturers approved Antron Electronics to perform modifications?

Yes. We are approved by every company that we stock to perform customizations on their power supplies.

7. Do you provide any DC/DC power supplies?

Yes. We currently sell Jasuny and a few Zippy/EMACS DC/DC power supplies, since Jasuny is the only manufacturer that produces several different types of higher wattage DC/DC power supplies. Zippy EMACS currently only offers a few models of higher wattage DC/DC power supplies. We are trying to find additional manufacturers to better serve your needs.

8. Do you carry TC I-Star power supplies?

TC Sure-Star has officially changed its name from TC I-Star to TC Sure-Star. Please see this official letter from TC I-Star.

9. What are 80 PLUS Power supplies?

80 Plus power supplies are any power supply that operates with at least 80% efficiency under a variety of loads. Please see our products section for more information.
